Meditec Systems Ltd. was established in the year 1993 and has since grown into an Advanced Partner of SIEMENS Healthineers, in East Africa, with a huge portfolio of products and services from various, global medical companies.

The company has established strong, concrete partnerships with key medical companies, including Siemens Healthineers, Elekta, Getinge Group, and Medtron AG, and Thermo-scientific fisher.

We have been in the forefront of the medical industry growth in the region, particularly in Kenya. We have installed over 120 + equipments in over 100 + hospitals and medical centers in the East African region. Our installations range from simple equipment installations to more demanding installations such as the 3Tesla MRI. We also have a number of turnkey projects under our belt, including The Cancer Care Kenya project (2 Siemens Linear Accelerator units & CT Simulator), Moi Teaching & Referral Hospital CT Scanner, The Kenyatta National Hospital Catheterization laboratory, multi-slice CT scanner, and a complete bunker with an Elekta linear accelerator unit. On the lab front, we have extended experience with modern integrated chemistry, heamtology and specialized immunoassy equipment. As a company we have also been able to successfully supply and support ventilators for critical care divisions, and are continually growing our field of experience

Our clients range from private clinics to government institutions and our success has been recognized and rewarded repeatedly with several distributorship awards and a strong backing from our clients. Our strategic focus is directed towards partnerships with various stakeholders in the healthcare industry especially the public institutions in the form of Public Private partnerships. Our footprint has consistently grown and we now have satisfied clients in Uganda and Tanzania, and support clients in Rwanda as well as Zambia.

Our directors, who are established entrepreneurs with a combined experience in the medical field of over 75 years, steer the company forward and have an in-depth insight into market changes and it’s influences on the company. Top management, alongside with the directors have worked to ensure that we not only have qualified engineers in the field, but that our employees are constantly trained in the latest technologies, and products that we sell. We now are home to electrical engineers, software engineers and even application specialists, and the company continues to attract highly experienced staff. The core essence we maintain is that all members of the company, from management to administrative staff, are continuously working to better their skills and understanding of the industry we work in
